I wake up to the sound of my morning alarm and like most people, I literally pour a hot cup of coffee down my throat, sometimes before even opening my eyes. After getting dressed I fly out the door and that’s it, the day has started whether I like it or not. The journey to work is always a battle and after tackling my way through the city crowds I arrive at work, most of the time feeling like I need a holiday but instead having to make do with another cup of coffee.
I’ve always wanted to be the person that appears so well put together. Someone that’s always on time and skips into the office by 9am carrying something amazing like a grande iced skinny hazelnut macchiato, caramel syrup with an extra shot in.
Now, i’ve tried one of those iced skinny unicorn chocolate rainbow ice-cream coffee things but sadly it’s only good for an impromptu photoshoot during brunch at the weekend. It tastes like sweet heaven but if it’s your typical order then be prepared for a $$$ dentist bill, a brutal 328284 calorie workout and a bad case of IBS.
